A perfect little hidden gem and a good midpoint for our one-night stop on the way to Szczecin, Poland. It’s well located for a comfortable family break if you’re in the area, with a friendly atmosphere. The receptionist was very kind and helpful, and breakfast was a great continental spread with good coffee. We’ll definitely make it our regular stop again.

We’d definitely come back. The food was good, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The receptionist, Donna I think, was especially welcoming and kindly lent us her charger when we didn’t have one.

It’s quite a walk into town, but I’d definitely return to Hotel Zum Ratsherrn. I had a pleasant stay, with a comfortable room, welcoming staff, plenty of parking, and a good breakfast.

The only decent thing about this joke of a hotel was breakfast. The rooms and other areas were old, dingy, ugly, broken, and pretty dirty. Our shower cabin was broken, we had just 1 set of towels for 2 people, the chair and the bottom of the bed were broken, and the carpet throughout was really dirty. The doors opening onto the corridors were filthy too. The surrounding area was hopelessly boring and ugly. The staff were grumpy and unhelpful. One girl gave poor service at dinner and stood in the bar fiddling with her phone. On a warm day, staying in a second-floor room is torture. The garden is a joke and really needs looking after. The price for what you get is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Access was easy and we found free parking on the street. It’s a nice hotel, but because of the heat we had to keep the windows open, and noise from the nearby road disturbed us all night.
