Hotel und Restaurant Windmüller

Everything was cooked or fried just right, and the ingredients were fresh. Really good food.

The restaurant was a real treat, and the service was exceptionally friendly. Just hope they haven’t run out of pepper sauce. The hotel left me with mixed feelings. My room and its balcony were decent, but my colleague wasn’t happy with the size or furnishings of the attic room. Breakfast was my main complaint. The buffet needs a lot of work on both quality and choice. Service was a toss-up too, depending on who was working, ranging from complete disinterest to perfect service.

The restaurant is tucked away beside the church, and we had a delicious meal here on our Sunday outing. We had a few questions about the dishes, so the chef came over to our table himself. We thought that was lovely. The two vegetarian options, walnut pasta and ratatouille with polenta dumplings, were generous portions and very tasty. Those dumplings were unbelievably soft, and gone much too soon! ;) It really seems like they still make everything fresh instead of just reheating or frying it. Even with the COVID restrictions, we had a lovely evening. Thanks to the team! 👍

The Windmüller team took great care of everyone at our 25th wedding anniversary celebration. The setting was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the children even had their own small buffet with fries, chicken nuggets, and croquettes. All our guests felt comfortable and looked after. The music system wasn’t fully working yet, so we could barely hear the music and there wasn’t much dancing. Most people didn’t seem to miss it, though. We highly recommend the Windmüller restaurant for celebrations. Ineke and Torsten Amting
