The hotel was spotless and well run, with a spacious room, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom with great lighting and a big shower with plenty of hot water. From our room at the back, we watched a stunning sunset. There's free parking, and this is a great hotel and local institution in the Eifel region. The restaurant is popular locally, so booking ahead on weekends might be wise. They serve Bitburger brewed locally on tap. Breakfast had a big spread, and there's a bakery next door. A small grocery store is just up the street, with Edeka and a small Getränkemarkt, or drinks market, down the street behind it. Everything's a short walk away if you need it. One small thing about the pillows: the Euro/German ones are large, lightly filled squares that you usually fold in half for support. I use an almost flat pillow at home and still had to fold them in two. Both breakfast coffee machines were filled with freeze-dried instant coffee.

The staff were kind and thoughtful, and it was a peaceful, cozy place to unwind with a good book. There are some amazing sites nearby to visit. I imagine spring and summer bring more guests, but it's still a nice place to stay. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful two-week stay without any issues. The kitchen could use a few more necessary utensils, though there was still enough. The owner was fantastic. It's a shame COVID meant the restaurant couldn't open.

The apartments are roomy and well equipped, and having a balcony was lovely. Staff were attentive and quick to handle requests. The washer and dryer were free to use.

Bikers are welcome at this very good motor hotel, right in the middle of one of the best areas for motor tours. The food and service were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
