The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is modern, with decent-sized rooms, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, though the single beds could be wider. Breakfast was fine for the price, and the stay is good value, especially if you only need a night or two near the highway. The surrounding commercial and industrial area is pretty bare, with a couple of gas stations and not even a supermarket.

Parking was adequate, and the hotel is handy for the nearby amusement park. The room was comfortable, with a modern layout, good shower pressure and temperature control, and effective air conditioning. For the price, the quality is reasonable and in line with the brand. Late check-in was a different story. The front desk may be empty, and the self-service system isn't dependable. We paid but never got the room access code, and saw other guests who had codes but still couldn't get into their rooms. We spent over an hour waiting in the lobby until a staff member helped us. The check-in system needs work.

The only problem was cigarette smoke smell in both the room and hallway. Otherwise, everything was very good: the room was clean and comfortable, and arriving late was no trouble because self check-in was easy and convenient. Towels and toiletries were provided too.

I booked a refundable reservation, but never got any emails from the hotel and was charged afterward. When I asked for a refund, they first replied only in German, then started a conversation, and later someone else blamed me. The hotel appears fully booked online, yet they don't respond and charge you for a room you don't use.

The room was quiet, and the WiFi was superb. It's a clean, modern hotel in a great spot, with good parking available for a small fee.
