The setting is scenic, and the room was fairly clean, but I didn’t find much else to praise. Compared with the service and prices we’ve experienced at other hotels and B&Bs, this seemed very overpriced. The rooms were bare-bones, without even a desk, and didn’t have the homey feel I expect from a typical B&B. The bathroom floor felt sticky, perhaps because of its material rather than dirt, though I didn’t check. Breakfast cost an extra €8 per person. The only freshly prepared items were bread, boiled eggs, and coffee; everything else came in tiny prepackaged portions. Locals were often smoking by the nearby bar. I haven’t seen people smoking indoors at a restaurant or hotel in years. If €80 a night is affordable for you and you’re not after a warm, cozy B&B experience, it’s fine enough.

The rooms were spotless and the food delicious, and all five of us motorcyclists had a fantastic weekend at the country inn. The owner welcomed us personally and brought wooden boards right away so our bikes could stand securely on the stony courtyard. Such a warm reception. Thanks for everything, we’ll definitely be back!

Getting out for excursions was easy, and the stay itself was wonderful. Service and food were superb, and breakfast was delicious with everything we could want. Definitely recommend it.

The kale and schnitzel buffet at dinner was fantastic, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was a treat too, with plenty to choose from, fresh pastries, and fruit salad that made for a great start to each day. The rooms felt cozy and almost like home, and were spotless. Staff were professional, friendly, and helpful from the moment I arrived, when I already felt welcome. It was an unforgettable stay at the country inn, well beyond what I expected. I’m looking forward to coming back and would wholeheartedly recommend it.
