Best Western Plus Hotel LanzCarré

The location is convenient, just a few minutes from Hbf. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and air-conditioned, service is quick, and breakfast is pretty decent. I didn’t order room service, though I’ve heard the restaurant is good too. It has what I look for in a very good hotel. I’d definitely come back, and I’ll try the other Radisson locations as well.

The breakfast selection was decent, though I’ve had better elsewhere. What stood out was that they baked gluten-free bread on demand because I’m gluten intolerant. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the quiet area made for good sleep with comfortable bedding. I was in Mannheim for business and stayed four nights at Hotel Lanzcarre. My Individual room was tiny, but decent for one person. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the station. To get to the city centre, walk five minutes to the tram, then ride about ten minutes. It’s an option to consider if you want to avoid the city bustle and don’t mind a bit of travel.

The rooms are very small, though the location is good.

We came here after fleeing the war, not for a holiday, and this hotel gave us a chance to catch our breath and feel safe. Thank you to everyone helping Ukrainians through such a difficult time. Germany welcomed us with open hearts, and we felt cared for at this hotel. The director, administrators, cooks, and maids all treated us warmly and with kindness. The rooms are comfortable, and the food is delicious. We’d gladly recommend the hotel for a holiday.
