We liked the bar both evenings. It has a big drinks menu, though it's popular and gets loud. Traffic outside was noisy too, so it wasn't the quietest place. The hotel itself is a nice independent one in a former warehouse, with spacious rooms and quick check-in. Our room was clean enough. Our small dog was welcome for an extra fee, and there was a dog bed and some treats for her. Parking is on site. There was no kettle for hot water. We skipped breakfast and ate in the city. It was a good stay overall.

The rooms are modern and look just like the photos. The location is excellent, and free parking is a real plus. A very distinctive hotel, with a more personal feel than a standard chain.

We had a great atmosphere, comfortable room and seats, and friendly customer service. The place is in a good spot by the river, and the finger food was good too.

The room was spacious, and I loved its decor and the harbor view. The hotel's design is lovely and really well done. The beds and pillows were hard, though, and the front desk attitude was rude. Staff seemed undertrained in guest service, and I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome dealing with them. We still had a nice stay when we weren't interacting with reception.

The terrace overlooking the Rhine is a lovely place to catch the sunset, and the homemade cakes and small bites like tapas are delicious. There is a great choice of gin and other unusual drinks as well. At Speicher 7 Bar, even the bathrooms, with all their greenery, feel special. The floral displays change regularly, the furniture is all carefully chosen and one of a kind, and the decor makes it feel like another world. Jürgen Teckert's distinctive touch comes through in all his Mannheim projects here too. It has so much extra coziness that you really have to see it yourself.
