I left very disappointed and wish I could give a zero. The room was dirty and smelled bad, with much of the odor seeming to come from the kitchen. The booking website listed WiFi, but there wasn’t any. When I asked, the staff said, “sorry your phone is to advanced in technology so it can’t connect because of the VERY POOR CONNECTION.” I’d hoped for a better stay. To be clear, I was there in August 2023.

What made the stay special was how Robert & Steffi helped when my bicycle got a puncture while I was riding around the Lake. I didn’t have my repair kit, and buses and taxis were refusing to take the bike during the day. Once we found a way to get it back to the hotel, they even offered to fit a new innertube. They also gave us great suggestions for vineyards to visit for lunch. We loved the hotel’s atmosphere, and it seemed like the older couples and families were having a lovely time too. The place was more tasteful and modern than most places I’ve stayed in Southern Germany, while making good use of the beautiful old exposed timber beams. The location was ideal for vineyards and the lakeside, and for a relaxing holiday. There were storks nesting with their chicks next to the car park, fresh apple juice and farm products for sale across the road, and the typical Berlin

A really cute old country hotel, with a renovated interior and loads of parking. The restaurant downstairs is top notch, and the service was welcoming. The atmosphere felt almost like being with family. Great job 👍🏾

The service was outstanding, and there was a good range of wines and drinks. The food was okay. The fish was very good, but the breadcrumbs were overbaked and didn’t really go with it.

Everything was clean and pleasant, and the service was quick, friendly, and accommodating. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I’ll definitely come again.
