The rooms were comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good, especially the fresh bakery items and very good coffee. A handy place to stay overnight when on business in the area.

Breakfast was great, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, with a simple style and a futuristic design that I found very interesting. The coffee machines and room climate control could use some improvement 😉. Parking close to the hotel was quite limited late at night. Thanks.

The room itself was clean and comfortable, but a lot of the stay was disappointing. The bathroom was a good size, though the red, blood-colored stains on the walls and floor were unpleasant. The nature bathroom products were the nicest thing in the room. They smelled great and were cruelty free. The bed had Coco Mat bedding, which also uses horse hair in its products. The TV had no other European channels available. The pond view could have been nice, but the windows were filthy, even though the hotel is on an industrial site and other places don't have the same problem. There was no tea or coffee in the room, only at the main entrance. Drinking water was available on each floor by the lifts, glasses were in the rooms, and there was a vending machine for snacks and other drinks. Plenty of parking was available. The hotel is in a quiet spot just off the motorway, with a pond, woodland and green areas behind it, though huge structures are being built next door and there's a lot of construction work going on. The food was the biggest letdown. I've stayed in hostels with better food service. Breakfast was only continental, some yoghurts were very mouldy, and some fresh drinks were long past their use-by date. I told the staff, and they brought fresh yoghurt in a dish. A lot of the breakfast items came in individual packaging. Some things were served in jars, which was nice, but those were the mouldy ones. There's more that could be done to reduce waste and improve sustainability. On Monday, breakfast wasn't available from 0700 as the sign said. There was no notice that holiday hours would be different from the usual weekday hours, even though it was a bank holiday. Dinner also isn't served on weekends, which wasn't mentioned when I booked. After a long working day, we had to find somewhere else to eat. Booking through a third-party website should make the dinner and breakfast information clear before guests book. I was working that weekend and had brought my family along to enjoy the trip. The computer self-check-in was faulty. Technical problems happen, but none of the contact numbers reached service help straight away. Another guest was trying too and got a response first, which helped us. Success and excuses don't go together. Another case of looks being deceiving.

The hotel seems fairly new and is well equipped. The shower is XL, and the bed felt as comfortable as a cloud. Breakfast was brought to the door, and the boss was very thoughtful. Great. I'll be happy to come back on another business trip.
