There was good food and cake, and the clientele seemed mostly made up of large families, so it felt very family friendly. The rooms are basic but clean, with windows that open and have fly screens. If you've booked half board, tell reception and reserve a restaurant time, since they don't do it automatically. The place caters more to local tourists than to people who don't speak German.

We stayed for one night and had a fantastic time. Our room had a spectacular view, and we couldn't hear the restaurant at all, even with the windows open, so the soundproofing must be very good. The restaurant was doing Bavarian-style tapas, with small Bavarian dishes that let you try lots of things for a lower price. We'd visit again and recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

A family-run local hotel on the family farm, with a mountain view and good value for money. The food features well-known local dishes, and the portions are large. There's a playground for kids, including a great mini hydraulic excavator that dads can enjoy too.

We had a lovely Sunday family lunch in the restaurant. It was busy with several family gatherings, but the service stayed quick and attentive. They brought us a soup starter while we waited for the main course. I'd gladly come back soon.

We'd planned to stop just briefly on a long trip, but ended up staying two nights. We ate at the hotel both times and didn't even look for a restaurant in town. Such a lovely spot in the countryside, and our room looked straight out at the hills.
