We booked and paid for a luxury room, but never got that room or a refund. The owner also seemed to have a very odd idea of all-inclusive, with a focus on charging extra. He wasn't friendly, and being around the hotel all day did nothing for the atmosphere. The rooms and bathroom were dirty and badly maintained. Breakfast was awful too: cold cuts, cheese, milk, and rolls were left uncovered in a warm room, and the coffee came from dirty pots. It really wasn't worth the money. The other guests during our late July 2018 weekend getaway were unhappy as well. We booked through Voordeeluitjes and unfortunately didn't read reviews on Booking.com and similar sites first. If you have another option, don't stay here.

The dinner was the one good part. The bed was comfortable, but the room was cold and breakfast was poor, with no fresh bread. We booked through Voordeeluitje and waited at reception for at least half an hour after arriving without seeing anyone. When we came back a few hours later, someone was there and immediately said our reserved room had water damage. We could switch rooms for an extra €20.00, and accepted because we didn't want an argument. From a business point of view, the water damage was his problem. We're never going there again!

Werner is 76 and does a lot of the work himself, so hats off to him. He even serenaded the guests last night, which was lovely, and was up again early this morning to get breakfast ready. The area is well worth visiting too, with lots of sights nearby. The hotel isn't luxurious and is dated, but the prices reflect that, the rooms were clean, and the food was good for what it cost. You can't expect top-class service for next to nothing. Werner isn't grumpy, though you need to get a feel for him. Hats off to Werner, his cook, and the rest. Greetings from Holland.

I won't return, and I can't recommend the hotel. The room was spacious, but it had several cobwebs, dim lighting, and a blind that didn't work. The bathroom was far from clean, and some hallway light switches had broken buttons. Breakfast was bad: the cooked ham was slimy, the fresh milk seemed almost spoiled, and the rolls tasted reheated. The place has clearly seen better days and is overdue for renovation.

At checkout the owner started throwing keys, saying the payment hadn't been made, even though we'd paid beforehand. He was very unfriendly. The hotel is extremely dated and needs serious maintenance, and the room wasn't especially clean. Breakfast wasn't fresh either.
