For dinner, there were five of us, and every dish we ordered was delicious, from the soups through to dessert. We hadn't decided whether to eat at the hotel or somewhere else, but were glad we stayed. Saturday evenings are popular with locals, so make a reservation. We were there for a short weekend to ski at the Willingen ski resort. The rooms were cosy and clean, the place had a lot of charm, and the staff were always smiling.

We had a great dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast was ample enough even for cyclists. The room was perfectly fine. Since we were riding the Diemel Cycle Path, we chose the inn for an overnight stop. They welcomed us warmly, stored our bikes safely in the garage, and had electricity available. There was also a small lounge with a kettle and coffee machine.
A quiet location, plenty of parking at the hotel and in the lot across the street, and a large, lovely room made for a very nice overnight stop. We had everything we needed. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Definitely recommend it! 👍🏻
