The food was fantastic, both in quality and portion size, and the service was just as good. We stopped in for lunch during the Christmas season, and the restaurant’s beautiful decor made the visit feel especially lovely. We’ll definitely return!

Breakfast was generous, and the staff were warm and accommodating throughout our weekend stay. The rooms are beautifully and stylishly done, and the location makes a great base for hiking in the Thuringian Forest. We had a wonderful time and would happily come back.

The owner still does the cooking, and it shows in the freshly prepared courses. The menu is short, but everything we tried was delicious and really suited our tastes. We ate both breakfast and dinner here while staying next door at Hotel Daheim. Definitely recommend it.

The views over the spa gardens or the Thuringian Forest are lovely, and we felt completely at ease during our stay. Kurhotel Masserberg is decorated with a lot of care and taste. We were there for one night, and check-in was easy, with very friendly personal contact. A really relaxing place.

We had a lovely weekend, and breakfast was very good even though the ground-floor restaurant was closed because of staff shortages. The apartments each have their own design, the staff are attentive and friendly, and guests can use the basement sauna. It’s worth the price, in my view. There are cheaper hotels in town, but I don’t think there’s a better one nearby.
