Breakfast is hearty and has plenty to choose from, from muesli to cold cuts, cheese, jam, and boiled eggs. The family running the place are warm and welcoming. It’s an affordable bed and breakfast and a great choice if that’s what you’re looking for. The guesthouse is older and rustic, as you’d expect in the Bavarian Forest, but inside it’s clean and tidy, not rustic in feel. The rooms have a timeless style, are well cared for, and aren’t worn out. There’s a television in the room.

We spent a weekend at Pension Fuchs and felt at home straight away. It’s family run, very clean, and in a really quiet spot. The owner pays attention to her guests’ well-being, and it’s easy to chat with her and feel looked after. It isn’t a lavish wellness retreat, just a place where you feel at home. We’d love to come back!

A lovely, very quiet guesthouse with a great boss and good breakfast. What more could you ask for?

The hostess was friendly, the breakfast delicious, and everything was just right. It’s such a cozy guesthouse that you feel at home as soon as you arrive. I’d love to come back.

Mrs. Fuchs looked after us so well and seemed to know what we needed before we asked. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, and everything was very good, from breakfast to our clean, tidy room. We’ll be back.
