We felt right at home in Mrs. Schauerte's apartment and would definitely recommend it. It's clean, really nicely equipped, and in a handy location, with a supermarket and bakery about a 10-minute walk away. Winterberg and Willingen are easy to reach by car.

There's loads to do with kids in and around Medebach, from hiking and sensory trails to summer toboggan runs, Aqua Mundo, the Aventura climbing park, mountain karting, the Fly Line in Winterberg, the Skywalk in Willingen, adventure golf, and lots of mountain bike trails. Winterberg and Willingen are about a 20-30 minute drive away, while the supermarket and a playground are roughly a 10-minute walk. We spent a week there during the autumn holidays with our two sons, aged 6 and 3, and felt very comfortable. Mrs. Schauerte was friendly and accommodating, and her apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It was very clean, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. We'll definitely book it again.
