The room was spacious, though clearly dated, and the bathroom had almost nothing in it. There was no bathroom furniture, just an old kitchen trolley tucked into a niche, and you had to ask reception for a hairdryer. Still, the cleanliness was impressive. Someone had been really thorough, and the towels were clean, though obviously well used. Getting around was difficult: there’s no elevator, the stairs are old with very low railings, and climbing into the shower felt like it needed mountaineering gear. Parking was two streets away, and there was no Wi-Fi. The bed was a Swedish futon 😅. Breakfast was fresh and had a decent range. There are too many barriers and the standard is too low for us to choose this place again.

The bed is the best part, comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. The price is fair, and staying overnight is possible, but the place felt cramped and not at all pleasant to me. Mold in the grout, a bathroom in poor repair, wall stains, and some damaged furniture. You really have to expect very little.

Restaurants are right around the corner, and the hotel itself sits on a quiet side street. Parking is free, though there isn't much of it. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, breakfast was adequate, and the staff were very friendly.

I slept well in a clean bed, and the bathroom was clean too. The breakfast choices were good, but the buffet space was so tight that only one person could serve themselves at a time. The cold cuts were greasy and inedible, and the eggs were overcooked, so it wasn't much of a pleasure. I wish I had better things to say. We had two attic rooms in this quiet guesthouse with breakfast. They weren't especially attractive: dead wasps beneath the sloping skylight, tired carpet, and a TV that didn't work. The entrance also looked dated rather than modern.
