The hotel itself is nice, but the noise made it impossible to sleep. A terrace belonging to another hotel nearby played VERY loud music. We called the police after the hotel told us to do so if we thought it was too loud. The police said the terrace had permission from the nearby hotels and the city to play loud music until 00:30. Why did this hotel give that approval without telling its guests? With management and communication like this, it could become a disaster :(

We found it easy to get around town from this hotel, and the location right on the water is great. Our room looked out onto the city and street. It seemed recently redone and felt modern, clean, comfortable, and cozy. The bedding was great, and I loved being able to open the windows for fresh air and a view. Breakfast had lots of options, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The little balcony or conservatory was a highlight, with a stunning lake view. The breakfast room has that same lovely outlook. We’re staying in the Droste 2 room, and it’s lovely. The website photos show the rooms very accurately. The staff are really friendly too, and we’re having a beautiful time.

We had a suite that was laid out well and comfortable to spend time in, which came in handy when it rained during our stay. The rooms had also been recently renovated, and breakfast had good options. It’s easy to walk around Meersburg and get to the ferry from this perfect lakeside location. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room was small, but the view over the lake and town was great. Breakfast was good, and they had non-dairy options when we asked. The ferry station to Konstanz is very close. Service was extremely pleasant and helpful.
