I’ve never stayed at the hotel, so I can’t rate that. The restaurant, though, is one of my longtime favorite seafood spots in Bodensee, Germany. The location alone deserves a 10.

Whenever we’re in Meersburg, we make a point of eating here, and we bring our guests too. The food is really good, the service is great, and the location is convenient. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and the team speaks German and English. It’s worth the prices.

This is a very touristy spot. The view is lovely and the service pleasant, but I wouldn’t come here for the food. Our order arrived in about five minutes, and it tasted like it had just been reheated, not fresh at all. Disappointing.

We stopped in for lunch and had a lovely meal. The local food was cooked perfectly, and the local beer was cold, refreshing, and worth mentioning. There’s a beautiful view of the Bodensee lake.

Right by Meersburg Harbor, it’s a great place for lunch. The fresh fish, distinctive tasty salad, and other dishes were delicious. Prices are reasonable, the waiters are friendly, and the fresh air from Bodensee made the visit memorable.
