Pension Burkhardt

The staff were very kind, and breakfast was generous. The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable.

Parking took some luck, but I found a free spot only 50 meters from the guesthouse. The room faced the back and was wonderfully quiet, and breakfast was top-notch. The place is so good that calling it a guesthouse feels like an understatement. I’ve stayed in plenty of 3- and 4-star hotels that didn’t come close. It might look unassuming at first, but the inside is what counts here. Highly recommended.

The rooms were clean, cozy, and quiet, and the team were consistently helpful, attentive, and friendly. They took time to answer questions about the area, suggest excursions around Meissen, and handle small requests with a smile. That kind of warmth is rare. Breakfast was a dream: fresh rolls, homemade jams, fruit, yogurt, eggs cooked in all sorts of ways, cold cuts, and cheeses, all prepared with care and served in generous amounts. Dear team at Pension Burghardt, we loved our stay and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We’ll definitely return and can wholeheartedly recommend Pension Burghardt! ❤️ Best regards, D. Störmer

The breakfast room had a lovely atmosphere, and breakfast itself was especially good. Our deluxe room had new, modern furnishings and tasteful decor, and it was very quiet at the back. We stayed for a private weekend and highly recommend the place. It’s a shame that staff shortages mean the breakfast room can’t also be used as a café and bar.
