The restaurant is nice and the staff are friendly. I had a clean single room with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was good. It was the usual German setup, with one bed pushed against the wall. For the price, that's perfectly fine. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Meden.

The people were fantastic, and the restaurant was exceptional. Very clean, really nice, and reasonably priced!

There were six of us, and we'd happily come back after a lovely evening. The food and service were good, and the price was fair. We ended with Sambuca, served with such a little show that we've never seen it presented so beautifully.

The food tasted good and the portions were generous, but nobody in our group will return. On Saturday I was there with eight people, and the person who arranged it had brought twelve the day before. Both times we were practically the only customers. Four people across those two days only wanted drinks, and they were rudely told they'd have to pay €12 if they didn't order food. They did buy drinks, and two or three each adds up. I understand restaurants need to earn a living, but how you treat customers matters. If our groups hadn't been there, the restaurant would have been empty. I'd rather have four people drinking and sixteen eating than no customers. There are plenty of other places where you're treated politely even if you don't want a meal.
