The rooms themselves were fine and comfortable, and the restaurant on site was decent. But the room cleaning team must have been on holiday. Even after we asked, only the bare necessities were done. The WiFi was just as spotty. They also can’t seem to cook a soft egg for breakfast.

We won’t be coming back. Quite a few dishes listed on the menu weren’t available, flies were everywhere, and the appetizers arrived at the same time as the main course. My steak was about 20% fat, and the waiter had to check with the kitchen to answer even basic questions, like what the soup of the day was. Then the only other waitress lost her temper when someone pointed out a mistake with the dishes. The food itself was so-so.

We arrived at 5 p.m. and found nobody around, just a note with a phone number. You can walk right in, with keys left in the doors, and the hallways were dark. The man who answered the phone seemed uninformed and unfriendly. The restaurant and sauna were closed, apparently because of Covid, and there was no breakfast except on Sundays. We booked for four but got a room with two regular beds and two very hard, child-sized mattresses. At least there was warm water. One star feels deserved.

Good value, with clean, well-equipped rooms and food worth having at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and really helpful.
