Familienhof Brüning - Hofblick

The kids always have plenty to do here, with all sorts of vehicles freely available and lots to look at and play with. If the weather turns, there’s a small, lovingly set up indoor play area, plus board games, foosball, and billiards. Our daughter also likes the roller track in the riding hall. We’re campers and this was our third visit to Familienhof Brüning. We feel very comfortable here every time, and the animals are well cared for and completely tame. Familie Brüning is always ready to help. It’s definitely one of our favorite places, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The Brünings are warm, attentive hosts and always available. You can tell they put real care into what they do, and guests feel welcome. We’ll definitely return, and thank you to the Brünings for a lovely stay. We loved how closely the staff engage with the animals. Guests can feed and pet them, clean the stalls, collect eggs, and take pony rides. There’s room to run around outside, with playgrounds, a trampoline, and fun vehicles. For rainy days, there’s an indoor play space for younger kids, along with pool and foosball tables. The apartments are modern, spotless, and thoughtfully furnished. They have everything you need while keeping a cozy rural feel. During school holidays, the children can join a well-organized program with riding, treasure hunts, crafts, and more. That gave us parents a little quiet time for coffee and a book. It was a lovely mix of adventure and relaxation for a short break.

The room was basic but fairly clean. There were some cobwebs upstairs that could use a look. Getting in was a bit of a puzzle. The booking site said online check-in was available, but the link only showed the personal details we’d already entered and a long German GDPR declaration. It didn’t say which room we had or how to enter. A confirmation email had a number 2 somewhere in it, and eventually we figured out our booking matched door 8 after someone working with a tractor called out and directed us to a particular entrance. Parking wasn’t clear on arrival either. We later spotted a sign saying “next to the horse stable,” without any more guidance. Well, you just have to know... 😁

We had everything we needed for our campervan stay and felt very comfortable. The farm tour for the children was lovely too, with pony rides, feeding, and petting. Thanks for a wonderful visit, we’d be happy to come back.
