Anyone staying overnight in Merklingen should go to the hotel next door. This place is filthy. The drain is still clogged after four years, and there’s mold throughout. The bathroom fixtures are in terrible shape, black as sin. My closet nearly collapsed when I hung a jacket in it. The advertised washing machine is in a separate room with five others that are broken. Use the one at the far right, or you’ll spend about 30 minutes mopping the whole room.

It’s okay. The rooms are large, bright, and clean, with fresh linens, towels, and comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are free washing machines, plus clothes dryers in the laundry room and in the rooms.

What a disaster. The place is dirty, the lamps and furniture are broken, and the bathroom stinks. There’s mold in the shower, the shower head is calcified or broken, and the drain is clogged. Doors and ceilings are dented, with loose exposed cables hanging from the ceilings.

The kitchen is well equipped, and the rooms are nice. A good spot if you want to rent a studio.

An ancient house, very dirty and barely equipped.
