We stayed at the Kranichhof for two days during a team-building event. The rooms are on the small side, but cozy, very clean, and simply styled in a way I liked. I felt comfortable there. The food was the real standout. Everything was fresh and homemade, and the dishes were delicious, distinctive, and prepared with such care. Brunhilde’s culinary talent showed in things like the lemon pesto, bread, cakes, and all the different spreads. I’d come back with my family for a meal even without staying overnight, and I definitely plan to return.

As a cyclist, I find the price hard to justify. For over €100, you can get much better accommodation a little farther along in Poland. That cost blows my budget, especially given the very poor value for money.

The owners run this lovely guesthouse with exceptional kindness, and our room was very nice. We were delighted with dinner. Guests can also request breakfast and dinner. We only have bread and jam in the morning, so I can’t really judge the breakfast, though I’m sure it would be excellent too. Highly recommended.

The only bad part was having to leave ^^ We had a great stay, and a lovely chat with the hostess. The food was delicious, with vegetarian options too ;) Her garden is lovely. We watched frogs in the pond and searched for grass snakes, then jumped into the Oder River one last time before heading off.

We stayed four nights in a beautiful room facing a big elm tree and slept wonderfully. The welcome was so warm, and the place is quiet, surrounded by nature, with fantastic hosts. The grounds are full of flowers and very well kept. Brunhild is a welcoming hostess and a wonderful cook, using regional products. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade bread and jam, and she gave us great tips for enjoying nature and activities nearby. The swimming spot in the Oder River is just a 5-minute walk from Kranichhof. It’s a peaceful, romantic place well worth visiting alone, as a couple, or with friends.
