A lovely spot among the vineyards, especially beautiful in autumn when all the colors come out. The rooms are large and clean, breakfast was nice, and the owners were very friendly. Just keep in mind they take cash only.

Barbara and Markus are always happy to help, whether you need ideas for trips or want to rent bikes. They’re so friendly. We stayed in a lovely modern apartment with a sunny balcony looking over the Moselle and the mountain across from it, all colorful in October. We’ll definitely come back!

Mesenich is a great base, with Cochem, Trier, Sosberg and the Geierlay suspension bridge all within reach, plus lovely drives and boat trips along the Moselle. Vineyards and river views are all around, ideal for walking or cycling. It was lovely to come back after a day out to the apartment and the family’s home-produced wine. The hosts make you feel welcome right away. They’re kind, attentive, and happy to answer every question with a smile. The apartment is bright, clean, modern, and stylish, with all the comforts we wanted and a cozy feel. You can tell a lot of care went into the details. A great choice if you value comfort and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.
