Landhaus Sorbitzgrund

We had a celebration for 25 people at the Sporbitzgrund house and were very pleased with how well equipped it was for self-catering. The kitchen has two stoves with 90 cm ceramic cooktops, a convection oven that’s handy for bread rolls, and a super-fast dishwasher that takes two minutes. There are also refrigerated compartments in the bar for several cases of drinks. The extra facilities impressed us too: dishes, pots and pans, a ping-pong table, a dartboard, and a large practical grill. The house is in quiet Rohrbach, with attractions nearby. We had a family reunion with 38 people, and the quiet, beautiful location suited us perfectly. The accommodation was good and had everything we needed.

Very little parking. It’s an old-style hotel where time seems to have stood still.

The friendly caretaker and the inn across the street both made our stay nicer, and we had a great time. We came with 24 people for our annual fair trip. There are lots of rooms and different ways to use the house, and the rooftop terrace is especially nice when the weather’s good. The rooms were perfectly fine. Some of the bathrooms were very small, though still better than nothing.
