Strandhotel Eldena

The beach access was lovely, and there are some wonderful restaurants in town for dinner. This small hotel has really friendly staff, and while the rooms are small, they’re clean. Breakfast was decent, and some of the holiday apartments they rent out are very nicely furnished. We had a lovely holiday, thank you!

It’s a little hotel that gets the essentials right. We were happy with breakfast and the decent range of food, though a buffet would be better than having prepared plates brought to the table. The cheerful, friendly breakfast staff made the meal more pleasant. It’s very quiet around here, and the beach is under a two-minute walk away. We’d happily return 🙂

The beds were very comfortable, with good mattresses and an adjustable headboard on the slatted frame. The room at Hotel Eldena was up to standard, and the staff were attentive and very friendly. The restaurant menu is limited, but the food was very good, and breakfast matched what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. Eldena is a little outside Göhren and has direct access to the beach. For other restaurants and similar outings, you’ll need to walk or cycle. There’s no elevator. We didn’t try the spa at the sister hotel Fürst Jaromir, which is at least 6 km away. Its parking looked very cramped, and the place didn’t seem especially inviting. The bathroom shower felt cramped, and the sink made using the toilet awkward. We also would have liked a small balcony to sit outside. Still, we were satisfied and felt the price was good for what we got.

A sweet little hotel with very friendly staff. The ladies at breakfast really try to take care of every request, and the beach chairs are available to rent at a very fair price. Keep it up!
