We were happy with apartment number 6 at "Uns Wiek-Hus," and we'd come back. Our Goldie was with us, and bringing a large dog was no problem. The landlady was very friendly and checked in by phone on the evening we arrived to make sure we'd got there safely and everything was alright. Middelhagen is quiet and beautifully set beside the Bodden lagoon, with the water only a two-minute walk from the holiday home. The house is on a calm side street, and the village has a peaceful artists' village feel amid lovely nature. Göhren, Seelin, and Baabe are only a few minutes away, while the long sandy beach at Loobe is a 30-minute walk. The house and apartment are somewhat dated, and sound carries through the thin inside walls and doors. The apartment was small but fine for a week. We hadn't expected two single beds instead of one double.

You can set off on lots of bike trips from this lovely holiday apartment. It's right by the Bodden, and there's parking directly in front of the house.

The location right on the dike is lovely, and it worked well for our dog. Apartment 9, though, was very cramped, especially the bedroom. We couldn't even fit our two suitcases in there. The place brought a GDR-era bungalow to mind, and I wouldn't book this house again.

We left the apartment cleaner than we found it. There were cobwebs on some walls, the toilet had limescale, and the metal door rattled. We also found only two regular glasses, with the rest being wine glasses. It would be helpful to have more multipurpose glasses. The owners could only be reached by phone.

It's a quiet spot in a great location, and our dog fit right in. The host was very friendly and always reachable. The apartment is small, but worked perfectly well for two people and a dog. We'd happily return.
