I’ve stayed here many times and it’s been a great experience each time. The staff are welcoming, breakfast is fresh and satisfying, and there’s a sauna in the basement that adds a lot to the comfort of the stay. Emails get answered promptly and everything runs smoothly. I’d recommend it for business or leisure.

The restaurant was a real highlight, the food was great, parking was free, and the staff were very nice and professional. My room was clean, but it got very hot in summer and there was no fan or AC. I should have checked beforehand, but that was a problem for me. The shower was clean, though I couldn’t keep the water at a steady temperature. I also woke up with quite a few bites on my skin, but I’m not sure whether they were from mosquitoes or something else. I’d stop here for dinner. In summer, if good rest matters, I’d choose somewhere with AC.

After an eight-hour drive, Ralf Poth and the team helped us park our camper, got the sauna going at 22.00 (!), and brought a beer out to us while we were alone in the nice sauna. That personal service was exceptional. Breakfast was great, too. The bathrooms are modern and nice, and the rooms are large and clean, with a traditional, somewhat outdated feel. Good value for the price, in a quiet, village-like setting.

They greeted us with smiles and offered coffee as a welcome drink. I felt they treated us like valued guests. The owner gave me personal attention and asked what we liked for breakfast and dinner so they could prepare things in advance to suit us. The staff were very generous with their service. They made my Sunday evening!
