The surroundings were what made these days so restorative: almost no traffic, complete quiet, empty lakes and nature that feels untouched, plus a sky full of stars you never see in the city. I came hoping for a simple escape from the big-city New Year's Eve rush, and found a lovely apartment with a fenced front garden. It was very clean and practical, with wooden floors and furniture, infrared heating, a nicely equipped kitchen and a pretty bathroom with a shower. The water pressure was a little weak, which I know from remote holiday homes. The friendly, accommodating caretaker was easy to reach but didn’t live on the property, which I personally liked. I had such a good few days here and would love to see you again. Thanks so much!

Even on a day over 30°C, the apartment stayed pleasantly cool and made a great retreat for me and my dog. We were a couple traveling with our dog, and the place suited us very well. We’d come to explore the forests and lakes nearby. You can also rent boats right on the property, for one person or more. The owner was friendly and easy to talk to, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay.

The lake is just a three-minute walk away, with a small playground and sports area. It was clean there, and a nice spot to relax or go for a walk. Our large family stayed over Easter this year, using two bungalows and a holiday home, and we all had a great time. The accommodations were clean, and there’s nature to enjoy right on the property. The owner is very friendly and approachable. We can recommend the holiday complex.

A real place to unwind. We had a lovely stay with our dog, and the apartment was clean, with plenty of fresh towels and linens. We were warmly welcomed and waved off just as warmly. We’d happily come back and recommend it completely. I really can’t understand the negative reviews.

We were at Oase am Vilzsee in Diemitz for five days in May 2025 with our dog, and the bungalow was just as described. It was a very nice place for the stay, and I’d highly recommend the holiday park for a trip with a dog. The owner was there too, and was friendly and straightforward to deal with.
