I didn’t stay at the hotel, so I can’t say anything about that. I stopped at the little beer garden out front instead. The apple spritzer was made with naturally cloudy juice, and they put together a simple snack for a hungry traveler. The kitchen was still cold, but it was nicely presented. Everything felt friendly and tidy, and the whole visit was perfect.

The restaurant stood out for its fresh regional food and genuinely warm hospitality. Breakfast was fresh, generous, and very fairly priced, a lovely way to start the day. There’s a peaceful natural setting around Mengersdorf Manor, with nice walks to enjoy. The fairytale trail is thoughtfully made for children and easy to follow, so families can enjoy it too. Travelers with RVs are welcome, and the innkeeper provides useful basics like a restroom, fresh water, and electricity. It makes the stay much more comfortable.

We found the spot through Landvergnügen and brought our campervan 😊 There was a pitch, electricity, and a toilet, with a shower available if needed. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and everything was great 👍😊
