We stopped in spontaneously for dinner with our three very tired young children, and the meal turned out to be our best since arriving in Germany. The menu has lots of variety, including traditional dishes made from scratch with excellent ingredients. The food quality, flavors, and menu were amazing. Staff were friendly, patient, and spoke several languages. The children enjoyed the sandbox and quaint playground.

The family-run place was very attentive when I went for dinner with friends. The food was delicious, with huge portions, and there's also a shop selling local snapps and goodies. Booking a table ahead is recommended. Highly recommend it, and the view of Mittenwald is great too.

We regretted booking just one night as soon as we arrived. The spot is beautiful, the rooms were clean and modern, and the view was spectacular. Service was excellent, and we especially loved hearing the bells from the nearby goats. We're keen to visit again!

We only ate here, though the rooms and package deals look luxurious. The restaurant is amazing, with friendly, fast servers and great food. There are plenty of free parking spaces, plus nearby hikes if you want to walk off a few tasty morsels. The outdoor terrace has spectacular views down over the valley.

We spent three days here on our first visit, during a vacation in Germany near the end of October. The balcony view was amazing, and the staff were very nice and professional. We were the only Americans staying there. The town was easy to reach by walking about three quarters of a mile through some farmland. We came back at night twice and felt perfectly safe on the walk to our rooms. I highly recommend staying here!
