GAPSAH-das Apartment mit Kino

The owner was incredibly friendly and easy to deal with, and everything went smoothly. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished with what you need for a short break. Its home cinema is the best part, perfect for a relaxing movie night. I’ll definitely return.

The cinema system is the standout feature: there’s a huge screen for watching films or series from bed, and you can connect your own devices or sign in to a streaming service with your own account. Coffee and tea are free, and we were greeted with bottled water and chips. Other items, including cosmetics, snacks, and drinks, are available to buy. There’s also an outdoor pool for use when the weather’s good. The room is in a quiet part of MG with good motorway access, though you have to walk down a flight of stairs to reach it. It has a large bed, a bathroom, a fridge, a microwave, and a small coffee and tea area. We were three, and an extra bed had been provided. There are no hotplates, so you can’t cook anything, which is the main downside. The landlord was extremely friendly, let us check in very early, and was always ready to help with problems or have a chat. We could leave the used dishes out for him to clean. It’s absolutely perfect for a few days, and I’d come back any time, keeping in mind that cooking isn’t possible.

The real highlight was taking my dog out into the fields with the landlord and his dog just ten minutes after I arrived. I’m in the area now and then, and this is the only place I want to stay. The room itself was amazing too: super clean and beautifully furnished, with a bathroom full of features, air conditioning, and a cinema system I couldn’t believe. Better than any hotel!

The landlord was so friendly and accommodating, and the apartment went beyond what we expected. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Mönchengladbach. It deserves all five stars, and I wish the rating allowed more.
