A spacious, very clean apartment in a quiet spot, furnished really well. A lovely holiday place!

We had a lovely, quiet holiday here. The apartments are beautiful and very, very clean, in a peaceful area with few houses and lots of nature. The map on site has useful information and good tips, so make sure to read it. One thing to keep in mind: there’s no elevator, so a small dog needs to be carried up and down to the upper-floor apartments. Our main issues were the heat upstairs, where it was constantly 27-30 degrees Celsius (70-86 degrees Fahrenheit) even when it was 18-22 degrees Celsius (64-72 degrees Fahrenheit) outside, and the washing machine area. It was very dirty behind the machine, as if that corner had been missed, and the inside was dirty too. Our umbrella broke, and we had to drive 20 minutes into town to buy a replacement. We had to pay the same price for a replacement as for an umbrella that was probably years old. There’s a dog on a neighbor’s property that cries for hours every day. We often couldn’t open the window because it upset our dog. Taking him for a quick walk was difficult too, with electric fences everywhere keeping people from crossing the fields. The owners of the Flammkuchen restaurant on the ground floor have signs everywhere saying dogs aren’t allowed. That was hard when our dog urgently needed to go and the restaurant’s area was the only grass for miles around. As we walked through, the owners gave us a hard time and said dogs weren’t allowed. We experienced a lot of hostility toward dogs from the locals during our vacation.

We were really impressed by the bright, well-equipped rooms and will definitely stay here again. The complex is in a quiet location, and they’re happy to help if you need anything. It’s not right by the sea, but that also makes it a bit more affordable. You can quickly drive to the sea, the Baltic Sea resorts, and other island highlights.

Spacious, modern, and well equipped, with very quiet rooms at the back. The parking spaces feel like they were designed for much older cars. They’re fine for Trabants but far too narrow for modern vehicles, and a scrape with another car could make the holiday expensive. Three stars from me, since nobody comes here by train or bicycle...
