A little shop nearby has the basics for cooking in the apartment, and there’s a nice lounge where you can get food and drinks from a limited menu. The apartments are roomy, modern, and very clean, in a lovely spot at the southern tip of Rügen.

The grounds are really beautiful, and the staff were friendly. We liked the interior too, and the facilities felt new and high quality. It is a bit out of the way, though, and the last stretch of road to Ager is old concrete and feels like driving over rough terrain. There may be more restaurants to pick from in summer.

Our stay was a horrible experience, and it ruined our Rügen holiday. I travelled with my husband and our four-month-old son. I called ahead to ask for a comfortable room for a family with a small baby, but the apartment we were given was unacceptable. It was full of spiders. We found and removed more than 30, including spiders in every corner. The place also felt old and worn, with a style one administrator called “rustic.” It hadn’t been cleaned properly either: the windows were dirty, there was dust in the corners, and there were plenty of other issues. The apartment didn’t match the pictures for that type of booking, so we asked to change rooms. We were told quite rudely that we could leave if we didn’t like it. The administrators only work from 4, and check-in is also possible from 4, so by the time we had checked in and spoken to them, it was already 7. Telling guests with a small baby they could leave after 7 was deeply disrespectful and showed us what the place’s service was like. We travel a lot, and we’ve never been treated so badly. It felt like the staff had been hired at random, with no experience talking to people or working in service. I was especially disappointed with Uwe Hutschenreiter, the manager. He showed no respect for hotel guests, didn’t try to find solutions, and seemed to have no understanding or skills for working in the hotel business. If I owned the hotel, I’d look at improving this, because the hotel’s reputation depends on it and won’t hold up if more guests have the experience we did. My husband and I travel a lot, and the administration offered no solutions. I suggest avoiding this place, since you never know what you’ll get. Pictures of our apartment were attached.

The spa and wellness area was very clean, and it’s a lovely place to unwind. There are nice apartments and bungalows facing a picturesque little harbor.

We had a really nice time here. It was quiet and relaxing, and the place was clean, with great beds, a cool lounge, and modern, nicely designed interiors. The sauna is close by and included in the price, which was great. Service was very friendly. You can buy fresh fish and bread, and the pingpong and pool tables are well looked after. There are hiking trails nearby too. Massage wasn’t available yet, but should be in a few months. I’d also love a pool or whirlpool in the sauna area. Longer opening hours would help, with morning sauna, drinks later in the evening, and public areas staying open longer. Looking forward to coming back ❤
