It's a really quiet spot, and the operators are pleasant and courteous. The beach is a four minute walk away. There are apartments for different group sizes, with a full kitchen including an oven, stove, microwave, and coffee machine. A great base for exploring Thiessow and Rügen.

The only thing we weren't happy about was that the description didn't say the upstairs bedroom has no door. Otherwise, this was my best vacation rental in 20 years, fully equipped with everything we needed, including fly screens and a Nespresso machine. It was fantastic. We didn't run into the usual problems you find in many accommodations, like a dirty shower head, blocked drains, or squeaky doors. A few small signs of wear didn't bother us, and after bumping my head on the slanted drywall a few times on the first day, I quickly got used to it.

The bread roll service worked perfectly, and the handover and billing were smooth, with no complaints. We booked the apartment with our two grandchildren in October 2015, and it had everything we needed. Even little touches like a throw for the couch showed the landlords understood what guests might need. The area has everything for a wonderful vacation.

The facilities are excellent and everything is beautifully maintained. There are barbecue facilities and a sauna too. We'd gladly come back. Best regards.
