The apartment was so quiet and spacious that we couldn’t hear the other guests, and it had everything we needed. It was clean, tidy, and comfortably furnished, with plenty of room for four. We even found a bottle of sparkling wine waiting on the table when we arrived. The landlord was very friendly and easy to chat with, and pets are clearly welcome, which suited us well. It’s a peaceful spot, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. There’s also a little shop, a fish smokehouse, and a bakery nearby for fresh breakfast rolls. We’d happily recommend it as a holiday home and will definitely return. All the best to Micha and his family.

Mönkebude is pleasantly calm, and the beach is close by. We were able to get all our requests accommodated, and the landlord was very friendly. It’s definitely worth recommending, especially since the town is less crowded and not as overpriced as other Baltic Sea towns. We thought it was fantastic value for money.

The garden and apartment worked perfectly for our two boys, and the beach was only a few hundred meters away, with an adventure playground and several restaurants. We spent five wonderful days in Mönkebude, and Micha, thanks for your amazing hospitality. We were absolutely delighted with our choice. If the crowded island feels like too much, this place is a real gem. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The landlord came to our rescue over the New Year holiday. One quick phone call was all it took for him to help us right away and arrange another holiday apartment. We’ve felt very comfortable here, and everything is clean and beautifully furnished. Thanks again for everything. The Heinemann Family

The missing kitchen items and uncomfortable lounge chairs mean we won’t come back. We stayed from April 6th to 10th, 2019, with 6 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. Each dog cost €35 for the stay, but that charge wasn’t mentioned online. The lounge chairs in the lounge/kitchen wouldn’t extend all the way, each falling short by a good 25-30 cm. One bungalow had a can opener, while the other had only a tea towel and a dishcloth. We’ll look for somewhere else in the area next time. Sincerely, Eberhard Eichhorst
