We especially liked being welcomed with a bottle of wine for the holidays. The owner was excellent, and the countryside apartment was perfect: clean, warm, quiet, with a big bed and all the amenities. We really liked it and will definitely come back.

Going midweek meant we could take our time and even find a restaurant table. We spent a wonderful day exploring Monschau’s old town and the surrounding area, hiking almost 15 km, visiting two churches, walking the Daffodil Trail, and taking in the atmosphere. It’s a beautiful area full of nature. We’ll definitely return.

It’s become very deserted, and now everything is only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Yet two hours of parking still costs €4. For a city like this!

Thank you very much for a lovely stay. The apartment was clean and beautiful, with modern furnishings and everything we needed. It was very quiet, but shops were still easy to reach, and there was garage storage for our bicycles. We’d happily return.

A superb place to stay, central but wonderfully quiet. The area is easy to explore on foot or by bike, and it felt like pure relaxation, even over just a weekend.
