AKZENT Hotel Höhenblick

There’s a good-sized car park, and breakfast was nice. The staff were polite and really friendly, especially helpful when we needed them. A very nice hotel, and I’d happily recommend it.

I left my sports watch behind, but the staff helped me arrange to collect it a week later. Thanks for that! We’d often passed the hotel on Autobahn 8, then stayed for a night on our way to the Alpes. Our room was spacious and looked good, with a couch, which I miss in most hotels. The restaurant is closed at the moment, though it might reopen soon. The Schwäbische Alb region looks like it could be interesting for a longer holiday.

The local food was tasty and fairly priced, and the beer was very nice too. Breakfast was very good, and customer service was attentive and efficient. We stayed at Hotel Hoehenblick for one night on both the way to and the return from North of Italy, with two adults, a child, and a teenager. The location worked perfectly for us. The family rooms were clean, nice, and spacious. I definitely recommend it.

The food was a highlight for us, with local dishes and good portions for the price. Breakfast had a good range too. We stayed at Hotel Hoehenblick for one night on both the outbound and return trips to Italy, since it was a handy halfway stop near the highway. On the first night we had a spacious room in the new building, with a separate bed for each of our two kids. On the way back, the place was busy with families, and we were in the old building. That room was smaller and the kids slept on an unfolded couch, though I liked the bathroom more. We didn't use the facilities beyond dinner, sleeping, and breakfast. The busy highway through the valley makes the surroundings noisy, but the room insulation worked well and we weren't bothered indoors. It's a good place to rest between two legs of a trip. I'm not sure there'd be enough to keep you busy for several days, though the kind staff could certainly suggest things to do.
