Hotel-Restaurant Dümptener Hof

A decent budget place to crash after a concert or similar. It's basic, with no extras, and the kitchen and restaurant were closed at the time, so there was no breakfast. That was clearly shown when booking. The place is clean, and although some rooms were being worked on, it wasn't loud. You can see they're steadily fixing things up. WiFi was fast, averaging 100mbit/s down and 50 up. Service was average, and they sometimes missed towels or little details, but asking got it sorted quickly. The location near the Autobahn is convenient, easy to find, and parking is free with plenty of spaces. Don't expect anything fancy, but it's a good fit for the price.

We had a very good time here, staying two nights in a room for two. We only used the hotel for sleeping and didn't make use of its services. The room was clean and large enough to sleep comfortably, and the bathroom was very clean and bigger than usual, I think.

The owners are quite lovely 🌹. The rooms are clean and lovely, though old. It has everything you need for a good night's sleep, so it's a perfect travel hotel if you're mainly looking for somewhere to sleep.

It's a little dated and nothing fancy, but the hotel is clean and affordable, and the staff are friendly. We were there in October, and the restaurant/bar was often already closed when we got back in the evening.
