Limehome Münster Von-Steuben-Str.

We came for the Christmas Market. The hotel apartment was easy to find, near the train station, buses, and a supermarket, and just a short walk from the city. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything else was good, but the pillow was very thin and uncomfortable to sleep on if you prefer a firm one.

The room was far too hot, and I struggled to sleep because the thin curtains let in daylight and bright light from the hallway all night. I could also hear noisy neighbors through the paper thin walls. Getting into Limehome Münster was a frustrating start: my access codes hadn’t arrived, so after a long trip I had to call and wait around before I could enter. For a modern self service place, the lack of basic comfort and support was really disappointing.

The rooms were fine, though the beds felt awkwardly sized, somewhere between a single and a double. Getting in was a whole escape room kind of ordeal. Limehome only offers online check in, but I couldn’t complete it and got a work avond by email. At arrival, the richt codes still hadn’t come through, so we couldn’t enter. A not so kind lady helped us. We could then access room 1, but had to call again for the code to room 2. After booking, I also received a frauduleus WhatsApp message asking me to confirm my creditcarddata. There appears to have been a data leak, which the company handled decently. All in all, not verder happy with the experience.

The room had a well equipped kitchen, and everything was organized clearly. The main entrance and room codes were sent in advance, though some people might find the system difficult. The hotel is near the train station, with plenty of places to eat breakfast or grab fast food in the evening. My room faced the main road and was loud; with the window shut, it got very warm. There’s no parking at the hotel, but a private lot 50 meters away charges 15 euros overnight.
