It’s a lovely, picturesque spot, and everyone was super friendly. I’d really recommend having a car.

The room was large and simple. Breakfast came with the stay.

The balcony had a stunning view of the Kaiser Mountains, and the room was tidy and neat. We were passing through and stayed for one night at this simple, clean guesthouse, where we got a friendly welcome. Breakfast starts at 7:30, and it was simple but perfectly enough for us. We’ll stay again on our way back.

The beds were comfortable and we slept well, though the pillows could use some repairs. The rooms are cozy, and the apartments are functional with everything you need. They’re large and almost fully furnished. From the balcony there are panoramic views towards the Alps, and the guesthouse is right by the Luegstein cave. It’s a great base for hikes and excursions. Getting here is currently possible by only one road, as the other side is a construction site. The house has limited parking. Breakfast is available in the main building, but you need to order it separately. Cleanliness fell short of our expectations. Although waste is separated, some things, including glass and paper, have to be taken to the nearest recycling center. We also had to fix a few defects ourselves, with lights broken or disconnected. The bathtub was unusable, which was a shame. It made us wonder if they were cutting costs or didn’t have a handyman.
