Super 8 by Wyndham Munich City North

The breakfast buffet cost 16 EUR, which seemed fair to me, and there was a good enough choice of food. Free street parking is available, though finding a space could be difficult; there’s paid underground parking as a fallback. The hotel sits in a fairly clean, family-oriented part of Munich, but it’s a bit of a walk to restaurants and there could be more nearby. Public transport isn’t right there either, so you need a bus to reach the train station. My room was modern, clean and comfortable. I’d have liked better pillows, and the frosted shower glass still let you see through it, so privacy could be improved.

The breakfast was great, and I stayed for two nights. The foggy glass felt really uncomfortable, though. Please change it if you can.

The corridors could’ve been cleaner, but the room was good for the price. What stood out most was the staff, who were super friendly and happy to help with any questions.

We ended up carrying our luggage around until 3:00 pm, and the receptionist’s rudeness spoiled half our day in Munich. I’d booked through Booking.com and had been told beforehand that we could leave our bags if we arrived before check-in. At the hotel, the receptionist said there was no luggage room and gestured toward a spot farther along that looked like a kitchen. We didn’t feel we could leave our things there. I wouldn’t stay here, even as a last resort.
