We felt very comfortable here and enjoyed the quiet during our three-night stay over Himmelfahrt. The spacious rooms and generous breakfast were great, and there's a small "Weingarten" right outside. Wine tasting is available too. The Sekt and wine tour with tasting was impressive, and I recommend it 100%. The estate is right on the Saale Unstrut cycling trail, with Naumburg, Merseburg, and the surrounding area easy to reach by car or bike. If we come back to this area, we'll book here again. WoMo owners can also park there free for one day, with advance registration.

The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and tailored to what you like. We love stopping by for a short break from everyday life. The wine is excellent, and the price feels reasonable for its quality and the view.

The cellar tour was impressive, the wine was very good, and the young woman leading it was entertaining and explained everything well. We booked the four-wine and sparkling wine tasting package, though the samples were tiny. The sparkling wine was poured in no more than a thimbleful, and the wine servings were also well below 0.1%. One other suggestion: the young woman's digs at the market leader from Freyburg, which she called a "fairy tale factory," didn't go down well. Let people decide for themselves. Not everyone can afford a €10 bottle of sparkling wine, and it's good that Rotkäppchen exists. Think about it.

We were welcomed so warmly and got to sample some wine right away, since this place is directly opposite our accommodation. It's a lovely spot to linger, take a break, or just wind down at the end of the day.
