Die Dependance

I only stayed one night at the branch, and check-in through the key safe worked perfectly. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower nice and hot. At breakfast, I got a very friendly welcome and was told to ask if I needed anything that wasn't out. Great service, and Neckargemünd is ideally placed for exploring.

We paid over €100 for each of three rooms for one night, from yesterday to today, and none of them was properly clean. The bathrooms were especially unacceptable, and the mattresses were completely worn out. At that price, the stay was not acceptable.

The building seems to be getting renovated, so it doesn't feel very welcoming yet, but it was quiet. Once inside the room, things were fine. Good value for the price, with a generous breakfast, clean surroundings, and even a bathtub.

By 8:30 in the morning the rolls were gone, and there were only a few slices of cold cuts and cheese. The cut fruit was already a little brown. So much for the advertised generous breakfast for €8.50. The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 2 pm, with unmade beds and cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The entrance and rooms were run-down too: a filthy trash can, cobwebs in every corner, a rusty soap dispenser, and more. Absolutely filthy, and definitely not recommended.
