We spent a week in the Hexenstartplatz holiday apartment. It was spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and had pretty much everything we could need. The kitchen hygiene was the one letdown: some dishes were dirty, there wasn’t enough cutlery, and things like oil, salt, and tea were past their expiration dates. Even so, we’d come back 😊

There were four of us girls, and we’d definitely recommend the holiday apartment, really the whole house. It was very spacious, furnished beautifully, and very clean.

Right in the heart of the Harz Mountains, this is a lovely apartment and a handy base for day trips. It’s furnished with care, which made for a comfortable stay.

The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was warm when the weather was nice. The window can only be tilted, so a fan was provided, and I’d recommend using it.

We were seven people, so we booked two apartments. They were charming, nicely furnished, and everything seemed quite new. Parking is available in the courtyard right in front of the building. There’s a supermarket just 50 meters away, and it’s a 10-minute walk to the bakery. It’s also a great base for exploring the Harz Mountains, with a pharmacy, playground, church, restaurant, and unspoiled nature all within walking distance. I’d gladly recommend the apartment.
