Buschenhagen Rustic Getaway

Andrea and her family really know how to make a stay relaxing and lovely. Buschenhagen Farm is full of thoughtful artistic touches, from the holiday apartments to the beautiful garden. Highly recommended! 🙏

The farm itself is stunning, and Andrea Gollan is such a welcoming, helpful host. You can tell she’s put her heart into furnishing every accommodation. I’ve had wonderful, enchanting stays at Buschenhagen Farm, whether visiting with friends for a short break, on a family holiday, or for a seminar. We’ll keep coming back!

We stayed overnight in the holiday apartments while attending a wedding here. They had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, a shower bathroom, and single or double beds. The farm made a fantastic wedding venue, surrounded by nature, and a separate marquee comfortably held over 100 people for the reception. There was plenty for children to explore indoors and outside, from the small playground and fenced frog pond to the horses and stork’s nest, with more besides.

Cycling across the countryside, going from swimming spot to the next hidden gem, made me simply happy. I came to Buschenhagen hoping for a few quiet days, and my retreat started Saturday at 1:45 pm. Just a few hours later, I felt refreshed like never before, relaxed and at ease. The organic farm and Andrea create a truly idyllic atmosphere, with lovely details, real authenticity, and so much peace. I slept well in my accommodation in the Klosterkammer, a historic building.
