Hofwirt - Hotel Gasthof

There was a good range of food, from meat dishes to vegan options, and breakfast had plenty to choose from. The service was kind and attentive. Looking out over the market square, the old hotel has been carefully renovated, apparently about ten years ago, into a nice blend of old and new. There are lots of artworks in both the rooms and shared spaces.

The whole venue feels genuine, with just the right touch of modern style. Hofwirt sits in the middle of an old medieval square, and the setting is peaceful and romantic. Though it's near the highway, it's a little off the beaten path. We stopped for a meal and thought it was excellent. The staff were kind and hospitable, and know how to bring Bavarian tradition together with modernity. Very glad we stopped by.

The rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. I absolutely loved this gorgeous hotel in a small town. Would definitely recommend.

A great place to stop on the drive to Croatia. The hotel sits on an idyllic square with nice restaurants and a beer garden, at the foot of an old castle that now serves as a private school. Our family suite had a lovely view of it all, with mountains and beautiful buildings everywhere. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and everything was very clean. What stood out was the careful finish throughout the room. Every crack, corner, wall, and floor piece seemed done with real care. It feels less like a fast-built hotel and more like a place whose owners take pride in it, and they should. I'd give the service four stars because Monday and Tuesday are rest days without staff. All the instructions were digital, so I missed a warm welcome and couldn't find my room.
