Gulfhof Butendiek

The Gulfhof Butendiek is well placed for outings, including trips to the islands. We took a day trip to Spiekeroog, and Neuharlingersiel's charming harbor and well-kept center are only about 5 km away. Norden/Norddeich and Greetsiel are also easy to drive to. We booked the "Fruit Chamber" at short notice for three nights and loved the place. Our first-floor apartment was stylish and cozy, with two bedrooms, two shower rooms, and a sensible layout. The small kitchenette was well equipped, and the beds on the spacious gallery were comfortable. At night, the lights along the living room roof beams made a lovely atmosphere. The estate itself is very peaceful, with a nice garden, beach chairs, and garden furniture. Everything was clean and cared for, with no signs of maintenance being put off. The owner communicated exceptionally well. We'd love to return. Thanks for such a lovely stay at the Früchtekammer.

We've already stayed here twice and hope to come back again. The peaceful setting is great for unwinding, and it's a good starting point for exploring the area by bike. Highly recommended.

We've stayed here twice now, and Agnes, the gem of the house, really goes out of her way to make the visit special. The apartment is modern, cozy, and there is plenty to do despite the village setting. Altharlingersiel is a pretty little village. Local bike paths make it easy to ride to Neuharlingersiel or Caroliensiel without an e-bike 😉. Jever, Aurich, and Wilhelmshaven are quick to reach by car, and there's plenty to see and lots of shopping. There's also a restaurant a short walk away in the same courtyard. I highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent.

The terrace and its beach chair were a real highlight, though watch your head when going through the low doorway :-) We spent a wonderful week in the Melkkammer, a charming apartment furnished with care and equipped with everything we needed. It's quiet and a little away from the main roads, yet easy to get to, and a great base for exploring the countryside. We'd gladly come back next year.
