The bus stop and large Edeka supermarket are only a 3- to 5-minute walk away, and the sandy beach in Neuharlingersiel takes about 10 minutes on foot. The apartment was very nice and comfortably furnished, with private parking.

The landlords were friendly and professional, and the place stayed peaceful even though the harbor was close enough to visit several times a day. A large Edeka with a bakery is just around the corner. The apartments are thoughtfully furnished in a practical, pleasant way, with either a rooftop terrace or balcony depending on which one you book.

The dike and beach are about a 10-minute walk away, and there’s a supermarket and bakery nearby. I especially liked Hinrichs, where everything was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The house and apartment were in great condition on a quiet side street, and each of the three apartments has its own parking space.

We stayed in the left-hand apartment, and it was clean and well looked after, even if the furnishings aren’t the most modern. It really does have everything: a comfortable bedroom mattress, an egg cooker in the kitchen, scales and a hot water bottle in the bathroom, plus a shoehorn and umbrella in the hallway. The harbor, bakery, and supermarket are all easy to reach on foot. A lovely place that leaves very little wanting. We’d happily come back.
